Hello
I’m so glad you’re here.
Worship is more than an outward act. Worship is a matter of the heart.
I’ve led worship for over twenty years. I’m a nurse practitioner, a wife and mother, a gardener. I live and write from Clarksville, Tennessee. None of that is really the point.
What I care about is helping people discover what worship actually is. Not the songs we sing or the hands we raise, but the heart’s intention to draw close to God.
I didn’t write Worship 101 because I wanted to be known. I wrote it because what’s in it has the potential to change lives, and because worship from the heart impacts everything. If that resonates with you, I’d love to connect with you.
The Book
Worship 101
A Practical Guide for the Life of a Believer
Worship 101 walks through what worship is, how it’s expressed, how to live it as a lifestyle, what happens when we offer it, the barriers that hinder it, and why it matters. It’s a biblically grounded study moving through worship in the Old and New Testaments, with personal testimony and practical application woven throughout.
Whether you’re new to faith, a seasoned believer, or a worship leader looking to go deeper, this book was built for you. It works just as well for personal study as it does for small groups, Bible studies, and worship teams. Discussion questions are included.
I wrote this book because worship is dear to my heart, and because what’s in it has the potential to change lives.
